This is a summary of the original
I was very unaware of the many bands that have strong ties to skateboarding. Joy Division Sonic Youth Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Minor Threat, and more. However, Dinosaur Jr. was the first band that I noticed had a strong connection to skating. Their enthusiasm, wild guitar solos, buzzy feedback, history in skate videos, and energy are unparalleled.
